The PoE+ Powered Device Analyzer is a single-box comprehensive solution for testing IEEE 802.3at PoE Powered Devices.
Don Findlay, Editor 26th October 2009
The higher power version of POE which is called POE Plus (or PoE+) and has the name IEEE802.3at, has been ratified at last with a maximum power of 25.5W. Some manufacturers are producing units with even more power available but would seem to fall outside the standard. Care must be used in selecting devices.
