The ProCurve 420 Offers single radio 802.11b/g, ideal for the user who does not need .11a. The unit has detachable antennas which enable the user to add external antennas and improve the coverage.

The 530 is designed for small to medium sized wireless LAN deployments that need more security. The centrally administered, edge enforced, policy based network access control provides secure and appropriate access to network resources based on user identity.

The unit support 802.11a and 802.11b/g as well as 802.11b/g radio operation.

Both of these access points are powered by 802.3af Power Over Ethernet.
